There are many aspects involved in the operation of a zoo. The scope of research at the zoo encompasses all of the following:

Animal Science
Conservation, Physiology, Ecology, Ethology, Veterinary

Scientific Outreach, Primary/Secondary School Biology Curriculum

Society’s relationship with the natural world, Visitor attitudes towards reptiles, zoos and conservation

PR, Marketing, Environmental Sustainability, Finance

Third level students at both undergraduate and postgraduate level are invited to submit a research proposal (see form below):
